Our roots go back to the early 1980’s, when Andrew Tett bought the business of A J Norcott, becoming Tett Hamilton & Co Ltd in 1985. This company was acquired by the Oval Group in 2007.

AJP Partnership was formed in 2010 following an amicable buy out involving the original Tett Hamilton management team plus additional members well known in the South West insurance market, restoring the business to independence. At the same time we have taken the opportunity to re-name and re-brand, underpinning the new look business with the core values that have always been so important to clients and staff.

Based in Clevedon, on the outskirts of Bristol, we provide expert insurance advice and support for a wide range of businesses and individuals throughout the UK.

Through an alliance with Marsh ProBroker, we have access to a wide range of insurance underwriters including all of the leading UK insurers, specialist markets and the London Market and Lloyd’s. This allows us to compete with much larger brokers on an equal footing, whilst providing a level of personal service that is the envy of our competitors.

Our clients have always been able to rely on our team of insurance professionals for insurance placement, technical guidance and risk management, utilising over 200 years of collective insurance industry experience.

We are not and never will be a call centre. Every one of our clients deals with an individual within our business. Our people are friendly, pro-active and experienced, and strive to deliver a first class service at all times.
